Royal Tour of North America: Day 1 - Bird Print Issa at BBQ

via mirror.co.uk

In the evening of Day 1 of the royal tour of Canada, Kate Middleton debuted a third outfit. This time it was a pretty bird print dress and wedge sandals for a BBQ.

Dress look familiar?
via sugarslam.com

The Issa bird-print dress is the same one Kate was spotted wearing outside the Goring Hotel the night before her wedding along with her Maddox wedges and a white BCBG cardi jacket.

Kate's slingback wedges at the Canadian BBQ look a lot like Pied A Terre's Ivy P or Imperia, although the company has yet to confirm. Pied A Terre has stated that the Ivy is "nearly identical" and made no mention of the Imperia (above), which we think is likely the real match.

UPDATE: Kate's slingback wedges have been confirmed as Pied A Terres by the company, but they're saying the Ivy, which we're still not sure about. Most likely the Ivy is the current model available and that's what the company is now trying to sell as the Duchess of Cambridge's slingback wedges.

Kate's gold leaf earrings are by Vinnie Day.
We have yet to ID the Duchess' disc necklace,
let us know if it looks familiar to you!

Kate Middleton Shops in Pink Issa Dress

Kate Middleton was spotted in the streets of London participating in our favourite athletic activity. Shopping, of course! KMidd did look a bit harried as she exited hat makers Lock and Co. (ordering up something for her big Canadian tour, perhaps?) What we find hilarious is that there are actual news stories about how the Duchess carried her own bags. Seriously people? The girl has two hands and her security detail has better things to do--we would think--than getting loaded down with Zara bags.

Kate's hot pink dress, which she paired with a black cardigan and her now-standard L.K. Bennett Maddox wedges, is the Lucky dress from Issa. This particular style has been worn by Kate several times in the past in a variety of different colours. Yes, it seems that Kate Middleton is one of those style people--the ones who find a shirt they like and buy it in every colour available.

Kate Wears Blue Zara Dress Leaving Buckingham Palace

After spending their wedding night at Buckingham Palace, Prince William and Kate Middleton--the Duchess of Cambridge now, we suppose, although we think we'll stick with KMidd--departed via helicopter. Apparently they'll take a weekend and then go back to their "regular" lives before taking their honeymoon sometime in the future, ostensibly to escape some of the press scrutiny.

A relaxed looking Kate once again showed her love for blue--and the high street--by appearing in a pleated Zara dress worn with a belt, a boxy black blazer with three-quarter length sleeves (which we've yet to ID) and her favoured L.K. Bennett Maddox wedges. The collarless black jacket with three-quarter-length sleeves looks like Joseph to us, but yet to be confirmed. Thumbs up to Kate's going away outfit.

Update 12-06-11:

Kate's black blazer has now been identified as Ralph Lauren!

Kate Middleton In Bird-Print Issa the Night Before Her Wedding

Kate Middleton arrived at the Goring Hotel the night before her wedding accompanied by her mum, Carole, and her sister, Pippa. The soon-to-be-royal smiled comfortably and waved at the gathered crowds while wearing a cropped cardi over a bird-print sundress paired with chic wedges. You know what they call that? A natural.

Kate's bird-print dress is by Issa London,
already established as one of her fave labels.
We've seen this dress on Kate before as it's
been in her closet since at least 2006.

Kate's round-toed patent wedges are the L.K. Bennett's Maddox
and her cropped white jacket is the BCBG Ruffle Woven Twill Jacket.
