Royal Tour of North America: Day 9 - Kate Middleton Says Goodbye to Canada in Red Catherine Walker

For their last day in Canada the royals also toured the Calgary zoo.
Kate sported a red Catherine Walker coat and matching dress,
plus the Queen's Maple Leaf pin. Judging from the styles on the
Walker website this coat seems to be a custom amalgam.

Kate also sported her L.K. Bennett Sledge2 pumps, that mystery nude envelope clutch, and her Kiki Mcdonough Grace earrings. We like the fit of this coat on Catherine and even the colour. Sure it might be a tad old, and maybe a little warm looking for July, but we think she wears it well.

Royal Tour of North America: Day 2 - Kate in Purple Issa at Canada Day Concert

via mirror.co.uk

Kate rocked Issa London again at the Canada Day concert she attended with Prince William. Beating the heat with a chic updo and a plunging neckline we can't deny that Kate looked relatively polished, but this dress definitely isn't our fave on her. The cut seems wrong and it doesn't look like it hangs properly, almost sagging around the boob area. We much preferred Kate's beautiful blue engagement announcement Issa.

Kate kept her Anya Hindmarch Bespoke Maud clutch close at hand and wore her black Prada pumps -- the same bag and shoes the Duchess wore when meeting the Obamas in London and at a recent wedding.

The Duchess also added some sparkle with the same diamond maple leaf pin she wore earlier in the day paired with a pair of simple drop earrings (we're not sure if these are Kate's or also borrowed from the Queen).

Oh, and Wills? This no-tie look almost reminds us of why we used to swoon over you and tack your People covers to our bedroom walls when we were 12.

Royal Tour of North America - Day 2: Kate in Red & White for Canada Day

Red and white are the colours of love and we L-O-V-E this outfit on Kate. Sure the colour scheme, pin and Maple Leaf fascinator are a bit literal, but we think the Duchess looks trim and chic in her recycled Reiss dress. Yes, that famous white Reiss engagement picture dress:

Word has it that Kate was invited to borrow whatever selection of the Queen's jewels her heart desired for this tour. Talk about kid in a candy store. We have a feeling we won't be seeing many dazzlers or tiaras on this tour, that's not where Kate is headed image-wise at the moment, but we did get to see the first loaned piece on Canada Day.

A similar fascinator from Locke + Co.

The on-loan Maple Leaf brooch was worn by QEII (then Princess Elizabeth) during a 1951 trip to Canada. A nice way for Kate to bring her grandmother-in-law into the conversation. Kate's red hot fascinator is by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock + Co and the fab fan clutch is from Anya Hindmarch. Kate's red pumps? They're the Hobbs Albini Square Cut Court Shoes.

Kate also accessoried with the Kiki Mcdonough diamond and topaz Grace earrings and a mystery diamond-encrusted disc necklace, a great picture of which we found on the Jewels of the World message board. It appears that the necklace has the words "BOND" stamped on it. Kate was seen wearing the same necklace in 2010 at a polo match. Any idea of where it might be from?
