Royal Tour of North America: Day 9 - Kate Middleton Says Goodbye to Canada in Red Catherine Walker

For their last day in Canada the royals also toured the Calgary zoo.
Kate sported a red Catherine Walker coat and matching dress,
plus the Queen's Maple Leaf pin. Judging from the styles on the
Walker website this coat seems to be a custom amalgam.

Kate also sported her L.K. Bennett Sledge2 pumps, that mystery nude envelope clutch, and her Kiki Mcdonough Grace earrings. We like the fit of this coat on Catherine and even the colour. Sure it might be a tad old, and maybe a little warm looking for July, but we think she wears it well.

Royal Tour of North America: Day 6 - Yellowknife

Wills and Kate are in Yellowknife today.
The Prince participated in a street hockey game and from the result
its obvious that a puck and stick isn't Wills' strong suit.
We're liking the Cambridge jerseys -- poor
Will, he seems to always be second in line.

Kate's dress is the Bullet Dress by Malene Birger, now sold out at Selfridge's. Pretty if not a stand out. Where is some Christopher Kane neon when you need it?! The Birger dress is made of silk mix linen and features a green banded waist, perfect for reminding us just how tiny Kate's waist really is. The strong shoulders, pleating on the skirt and the high, round neckline also suit the Duchess' frame.

Accessories: L.K. Bennett Sledge2 nude pumps, mystery nude clutch
(please, someone help us out with this one!) and Kiki Mcdonough citrine drops.

Kate's face is priceless in the pic above.
Maybe she's not used to seeing Wills' miss?

Later on Kate got set for some wildnerness activites including a canoe ride (the royals actually seem to like this kind of stuff--yeah, we don't really get it either). Back on the scene were the J Brand jeans and Sebago boat shoes from yesterday, paired with a snap-button shirt and an interesting belt.

Kate's belt is by Kenyan designer Linda Camm

For the canoe ride Kate added a jacket and an Aquascutum check scarf.

William and Kate were gifted a set of diamond-covered bears from Harry Winston. He got cufflinks, she got a brooch, they were made from Canadian diamonds. We're still stuck on the fact that they are freakin' bears. Really? They couldn't have figured out a better design? We're guessing these will be relegated to the vault.

Then William and Kate were made honorary Rangers, whatever that means. Wills was cute, though, helping Kate put on her red sweater and they're apparently spending the night in the woods getting all romantical.

Royal Tour of North America: Day 4 - Kate's Blue Erdem at Prayer Service

Today William and Kate attended a prayer service aboard the HMCS Montreal before heading to a youth centre and historical stops like the Plains of Abraham (the site where the British defeated the French in 1759). So on to the important stuff: Kate's Day 4 fashion. Once again the Duchess chose deep blue and once again she also chose a design by the Canadian-born Erdem.

Kate's second blue Erdem is the Jacquenta from the designer's Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Pretty dress but we're kinda bored. Too much like the Erdem Cecile that Kate wore when landing in Ottawa. What do you think?

Kate wore her diamond-and-sapphire earrings with her hair down.

She also added her mystery nude envelope clutch.
If anyone can ID this bag we'd love you forever. Seriously.
We almost feel like we've seen it at ALDO or something but no luck yet.
And check out that slit! Kate also wore her diamonds-by-the-yard bracelet (maybe Tiffany's?)

Not surprisingly the Duchess also went for the tried and true: her L.K. Bennett Sledge2 pumps. We're wondering if she owns more than one pair and just how freakin' comfortable these shoes have to be!

Kate Middleton Wears White (Again!) at Wimbledon

ibtimes.com

Kate Middleton made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon along with Prince William sporting one of her go-to colours of late: white.

This time Kate wore a the tiered and pleated Moriah Dress from Temperley London paired with her trusty nude Sledge2 pumps from L.K. Bennett, that mystery nude clutch, and her new sapphire earrings and monogrammed bracelet. Fresh, pretty and happy we'd say.

If you're interested, Temperley is releasing the dress,

Kate Recycles Another Frock for Prince Philip's Birthday

Telegraph UK

Forget the high street or designer boutiques, this weekend Kate Middleton proved that sometimes the easiest place to shop is your own closet. After recycling that black and white Zara dress at her friends' wedding on Saturday, the Duchess appeared at a service celebrating Prince Philip's birthday in pieces she's worn before.

The Mirror UK

Kate's brocade coat is a cornflower blue creation from Jane Troughton last seen at the 2009 wedding of Nicolas van Cutsem (second photo above). For Prince Philip's 90th birthday, Kate changed up the hat (the new one is also by Jane Corbett), shoes (those nude L.K. Bennett Sledge2 pumps) and dress to give the coat a second life.

And the dress underneath that coat? We've seen it before too. It's the blue pleated Zara dress that Kate wore when departing Buckingham Palace the day after her wedding. Kate was also carrying an unidentified nude clutch.

Kate's sapphire-and-diamond earrings have apparently been refashioned from an old pair of Princess Diana's, part of the jewelry suite gifted to the late Princess of Wales by the Prince of Saudi Arabia.

While we can't say we love the earrings--like the engagement ring they kind of seem...old fashioned--the bit of history is appreciated and they do match that famous ring quite nicely.

And this may not be our favourite Kate Middleton fashion look (we'll take a chic McQueen coat dress any day of the week), but we do respect how the Duchess is able to recycle old items to make new looks.
